PROF. DR. KONSTANTINA PAPATHANASIOU

PROFESSOR AT UNIVERSITY OF LIECHTENSTEIN (Liechtenstein)

Prof. Dr. Konstantina Papathanasiou, LL.M., holds the Chair of Economic Criminal Law, Compliance and Digitalization at the University of Liechtenstein, since September 1, 2021.

She pursued her legal studies from 2001 to 2005, and in 2007 completed a Master degree in Criminal Law Sciences in Athens. From 2008 onwards, she received the DAAD-Scholarship at the University of Heidelberg to pursue her research, where she subsequently, amongst others, completed her doctorate in 2010 to 2013 as a scholarship holder of the Alexander Onassis Foundation. With a habilitation scholarship from the University of Regensburg, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, she worked on her habilitation thesis on the origins, international legal limits and theoretical foundations of international criminal law from 2017 to  2020. She habilitated in March 2021 and was subsequently awarded the venia legendi for criminal law, criminal procedural law, economic criminal law, international criminal law, comparative law and legal philosophy.

Since 2016 she is a visiting professor at the Faculté Libre de Droit in Paris, and in 2018 she was at the Collège de France on a 2-month research fellowship. In 2021, she was elected to the Board of the Greek Society of Criminal Law.

Marc Taverner is the CEO and co-founder of XEROF, a leading Swiss financial services provider specialising in cryptoassets. Yassin is Crypto and FinTech entrepreneur and enthusiast by heart. His focus in the blockchain & web3 space is in the industrial blockchain sector, but he is also well aware of solutions for and regulation of the digital assets space.
Sebastian's background is in international media consulting and go-to-market strategies for international PayTV operators and video streaming service providers and the evolution of this ecosystem. And his work is focusing on the intersection of web3 and media on the one hand side and the opportunities for blockchain tech to drive the sustainability movement further.

As a trained interdisciplinary engineer Philipp Büchel found his way into the Blockchain world through technical couriosity and a high interest for self-responsibility. The "Blockchain Büro" he founded in 2016 is today a well known partner for education, advisory and research in a broad spectrum of Bitcoin and Blockchain centric topics. Ralf Glabischnig is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He is actively building a worldwide Blockchain ecosystem with a focus on Switzerland and Liechtenstein the famous “Crypto Valley” and the Middle East also known as “Crypto Oasis”.
On top of this ecosystem his group is active in three business areas, Consulting & IT Services, Venture Capital and Venture Building!
Together with his business partners he is the founder and main shareholder of 20+ companies and invested in more than 100 startups through several venture capital structures.
His focus goes to the Inacta Group with ventures in the areas of Tokenisation (Tokengate.io), Securitization (Gentwo), Crypto-Payments (inapay) and Provenance (Proofx). Philipp Pieper is a co-founder of Swarm as well as the Swarm Network, an open-source project and DAO. Philipp also co-founded Proximic (acquired by comScore), Loop Media and Bitadel Crypto Trading. Philipp has been engaged in decentralised technologies and crypto-asset trading since 2015. He is also a startup investor and mentor at Singularity University and StartX. He is a member of the AIMA blockchain committee and Digital Currency Trade Association (DCTA).
